TOPICS FOR BASIC TRAINING - The role of the Guardian ad Litem, the investigation, identifying issues, ethical consideration, cultural diversity and socio-economic differences, high conflict parenting, domestic violence, substance abuse and mental health issues, writing the report and testifying in Court. The basic training meets the requirements of U.S.C.R. 24.9.
TOPICS FOR ADVANCED TRAINING - Look forward to a dynamic agenda covering timely and relevant topics to support Guardians in their vital work, including cutting edge information about Artificial Intelligence—its practical uses, benefits, and potential pitfalls for Guardians ad Litem.
This training is designed for Guardians ad Litem assisting the Georgia Superior Courts in domestic custody cases. You must be a member of the Georgia Guardians ad Litem, Inc. organization to attend its annual conference and training.
